About that possible honeymoon: we weren't going to take one after the wedding. Not at all. The original plan was for us to get married on the 24th and then I'd fly back to DC on the 26th and be at my desk on the 27th. We didn't have the time or the money to enjoy a honeymoon immediately afterwards, and that was okay. We were starting to think of big trips we could take for our one-year anniversary in August 2014, once we'd gotten the visa out of the way and Jon was settled here in the States. But the time issue kind of sorted itself out and it turns out that there may be an option that would put us very minimally out of pocket thanks to the generosity of some family members and... well, again, I'm letting my imagination get the better of me.
But if it does happen, it will be to a lovely place that Jon and I have visited before. A place with rolling hills and winding streets and open water and memories and friends and a little cottage just for the two of us. And I don't want to jinx anything, but if I were to take advantage of that 15% off deal...
