Frock Fridays: A Loft Skirt
Perhaps unsurprisingly, our itinerary for Jon's family's visit included a pastime that really only held interest for the women among us: shopping. In New York, we strolled up Fifth Avenue, peeking into Tiffany's and Stuart Weitzman. In Washington, our destination was Georgetown. Taking pity on Jon and his father, who had no interest in accompanying us into shops, Ellie, Jon's mum, and I kept things as brisk as possible on Wisconsin and M - but Ellie and I both managed to snag a few pieces! I absolutely love this skirt I picked up on sale at Loft. The pleats make it super flattering without bulking it (or me) out, and I love that the pattern feels super contemporary. And - bonus - it has pockets!
I think you'll be seeing this one regularly on my #ootd Instagrams, dear readers.

ReplyDeleteOooh - I love it. Pockets immediately make most clothing more appealing to me! x
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Can't beat pockets. Also, on one of my DC trips I stayed in Georgetown and loved shopping there - favorite stores but in way cuter buildings than Cincinnati malls :)
ReplyDeleteYou are too cute! Love the skirt!
ReplyDeleteAlso, Andrew and I will be in DC over Memorial Day Weekend. If you're in town I'd love to meet up!! :)
You always find the cutest skirts and dresses! Love this - and yay pockets!
ReplyDeleteSaaaaaame here. Pockets in all my dresses and skirts please. I'd never wear trousers again. ... Okay that's a lie, but still. x
