35 Years

Mom and Dad in Cambridge in the mid-1970s (I think)

This is slightly belated, but my parents were in France last week and (since I hope they weren't checking my blog while on holiday) I wanted to wait until they returned to wish them a very happy 35th wedding anniversary!

Mom and Dad, watching you together is the best way I could possibly hope to learn about marriage.  You might not realize it, but every day you teach me about love, about selflessness, about patience, about compromise, about teamwork, and about faith.  Thank you - I love you both so much.

(See a photo from their wedding in 1979 here!)

  3. Happy Anniversary to your parents ! I just went to view their 1979 wedding photo and got all teary eyed in the post you wrote about your grandparents and parents marriages. You worded it so perfectly when you mentioned how you noticed that after your grandparents spending decades together they learned to bend and became perfectly entwined. My grandparents were very similar in that way to yours and I wish I would have been more observant earlier on like you.
