Charlie and Jon

What a Sunday!  It's been perfect.  After cold pizza for breakfast - thanks to last night's laziness that led us to order delivery rather than go out to dinner - and a phenomenally domestic outing to Target and the grocery store, Jon and I brought Charlie to my parents' house in the suburbs and we all spent a glorious hour romping through Rock Creek Park.  As you can tell from the short video below, Jon has Charlie totally sussed.  (Charlie has Jon wrapped around his paw, too, but Jon's forbade any photos of morning cuddles from being published online!)  The only thing that would have made today better is if my sister had been in town.  We miss you, Sarah!

  1. Why do boys like to do that "pretend to throw but not really throw" trick? My dad and brothers think that's hilarious. I don't get it. Also, I want your dog. And I don't like most dogs, so that's saying something.

  4. So glad you got some time to just be normal together. To stay in and order pizza and wander Target. My favorite times with my family after we've been apart are those moments when we forget we've been apart.
