If I'd been really organized and thoughtful, though, I'd have found a vintage dress pattern from 1953 and made - or asked my mother to make me - a frock I could wear for our date that honors Nana and Pappy's anniversary. This shape is so me anyway, the length is enormously flattering, and I love the little flirty bows at each shoulder. And it would be such fun to think that my grandmother might have worn something similar at my age!

ReplyDeleteHow sweet! I went to a blogger event at a vintage clothing store and the owners kept insisting that the clothing was made for my body type. I'll definitely take that as a compliment!
