It's Monday and Charlie woke me up at 5:32am and then didn't let me go back to sleep and it's raining. It's Monday and on Friday night we're hosting a black-tie gala at work and between now and then I have to get myself completely packed and ready to move into my new apartment because Dad and I will be checking in at Dulles at 7am on Saturday morning for our flight to London after which we'll have four full days of wedding things with Mom and Jon and Jon's family in England before we return to DC the following Thursday evening and then about 12 hours later the movers will come to pick up all of my things to set me up in the new apartment.
Whoa, I need to take a breath after all of that!
So to you I say Monday and to you I give Maddie, who knows how I feel. Have a wonderful week, dear readers, and remember to breathe. Also, caffeinate as needed!
LOVE Maddie.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Maddie. I was trying to explain the account to Ryan this weekend and his eyes practically glazed over, but I'm obsessed!

ReplyDeleteSums up just about how I feel. More coffee - I'll figure it out when my brain is on. Sounds like you have a lot of excitement ahead of you!!
ReplyDeletehaha I like your attitude. can I get a side of that with my coffee please?
ReplyDeleteI think you may have mentioned this previously and I just can't remember details, but your mom is traveling separately from you and your dad? am I being really nosy and obnoxious in asking about this?
ReplyDeletehaha no it's fine! the reason we planned this trip for this time is because Mom has a work conference in London - she actually leaves tonight, so Dad and I will be joining her on Saturday and then we'll all fly home together next Thursday. (we do like each other! well, usually...)
