Peach Picking
Last summer, on a muggy Sunday at the end of July, my mom and I drove out into the rolling hills of of Maryland to go peach picking. Just down the road from where we picked blueberries the other week, Homestead Farms boasted an abundance of delicious yellow and white peaches plus blackberries that were just beginning to ripen. I won't be able to go back before the end of the season because of a quick visit to Charlottesville this weekend and my trip to London in August, so I'll have to relive the memories through the photos I took then - and, hopefully, by stealing some of the peaches Mom picks when she goes later this summer!
